· “Feijao” vs Kyle Confirmed for June 6th

For the second time, Rafael "Feijao" Cavalcante is re-adjusting his training camp to better suit a different opponent. Since Light-Heavyweight Champion Renato "Babalu" Sobral pulled out of their bout back in March, due to the arrival of his second daughter, Cavalcante has been preparing for up-and-comer Jared Hamman (10-1). As a result of an injury, Hamman has been forced out of the June 6th contest.

In the past the replacement, Mike Kyle has competed in the UFC, WEC, Pancrase and King of the Cage, while also having fought twice under the Strikeforce banner. Now training with the American Kickboxing Academy (AKA), Kyle is currently riding a two-fight win streak with hopes of making it three.

The bout will be the final undercard fight of the June 6th event "Strikeforce: Lawler vs. Shields" and is expected to earn one of the competitors a shot at Babalu's title when he returns to action.
